As a Senior UX Design Lead at CVS Health, I had the opportunity to lead the design and implementation of CVS One, an initiative aimed at creating a seamless, omnichannel pharmacy experience. Our mission was to bridge the gap between in-store pharmacy services, digital touchpoints, and acquired health systems, ensuring users could access prescriptions and healthcare services when and where they needed them.
Collaborating across multiple teams and business units, I led efforts to align legacy systems, partner integrations, and pharmacist workflows into a unified platform. This included developing a zero-to-one design system to support all pharmacy touchpoints, ensuring consistency and ease of use for both users and pharmacists. A key component of our approach was The Guild, a cross-functional initiative I created to bring stakeholders together through workshops and working sessions—ensuring alignment while fostering open dialogue and research-backed decision-making.
The impact of CVS One extended beyond just prescription fulfillment. It transformed the in-store experience, integrating with CVS Health Hub, a dedicated space for medical consultations, wellness programs, and preventive care. By rethinking how customers engage with pharmacy services—whether through in-store pickup, home delivery, or digital tools—we helped make healthcare more accessible, affordable, and connected.
With CVS Health continuing to push the boundaries of total health, the foundation we built with CVS One sets the stage for future innovations that support users in body, mind, and spirit—helping people not just get well, but stay well.
